YEAR OF CALL TO THE BAR: 2024

Joshua Kuepfer is an associate lawyer at Wilson McCormack Law Group with a particular interest in housing law and dispute resolution.  He studied at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (UBC) and articled with Access Pro Bono and the Everyone Legal Clinic, which confirmed his passion for direct collaborative work with clients in strategically navigating options and goals.

Mr. Kuepfer focuses on strata, residential tenancy, employment, and civil litigation matters. He is dedicated to helping clients navigate their legal issues, ensuring they stay informed and engaged throughout the process.

His work includes advising clients on issues such as bylaw enforcement, landlord-tenant disputes, contract matters, privacy concerns, employment issues, and property maintenance. He is developing experience in proceedings before the Residential Tenancy Branch, Civil Resolution Tribunal, and BC Supreme Court, and with settlement negotiations.

Mr. Kuepfer is an avid outdoorsman who loves backcountry skiing, scrambling peaks, and biking to work.  He paid for law school by planting approximately half a million trees in the interior of BC and Alberta.  In smaller spans of free time, he enjoys reading, playing music, cooking, and hosting potlucks.

Before law school and between undergraduate terms, he spent several seasons working in outdoor education, as well as volunteering on an eco-farm in the Fraser Valley and with a small rural health NGO in Uganda.
